Madison being a stinker.

Go faster Daddy!!!

Noelle the Marmot.
At the end of April we celebrated my birthday by going into Rainbow Falls, one of my favorite little hikes, with the kids because we can use the double jogger---it is great! It was a little chilly but really ended up being a perfect hike. It is 8 miles round trip. There was still snow and ice when we got to the dam and the falls were really icy still. Some how I always forget about the 4 miles up hill part. Madison was running around with no pants on, in the snow because we are still learning how to use the woods as our toilet and did not want to end up with any dribbles. We had a nice picnic and then played at the dam for a while before heading back. Noelle climbed all the rocks and reminded me of all the marmots that we would see when climbing 14ers in Colorado. Then as we were driving back home we saw a herd of Buffalo, like 20 or 30. So very random for just outside an Olympic Village.

You guys are so cute. I love hearing about your outdoor adventures, though I wish they were taking place here in WNY with me in random state parks at dusk or in a lake during a thunderstorm...
Haha!
Hope to see you all soon, in person!
Love you.
